Used AV1 occasionally for 0–3 months

Difficulty setting up. Primary schools do not have technicians and it took a long time. It is also difficult because you can only have one user on one robot. We have two children in the same class that need to access it and we have to have two AVs. Also it is a real chore to delete a user and set up the AV for the next child.

Reply from AV1:Hi Emma, we are sorry to hear that you had some difficulties setting up. Our team will be in touch separately to check there are no technical issues still preventing you from using AV1. In regards to only one user having access to the AV1, this is to ensure that the teacher knows who is on the other end of the unit. It also supports with the feeling of belonging if the child at home knows that the AV1 is just representing them in class. I am sorry that you had some problems with switching users...this should be made simpler through access to our AV1 admin portal where you can generate new keywords yourself. I have been in touch with your local authority to request that you are given access to this. We hope that after some more use of AV1 you start to see impact for your pupils.
