Christine Strachan found ClickView:
  • Moderately reduces teacher workload
Videos can be used to explain concepts and ideas ahead of a class, meaning that class time can be used for discussion and activities. For example in the library, I have created a guide about referencing and plagiarism, using ClickView videos to explain these concepts which students can access ahead of the in-class session. This means that more time in class can be dedicated to working through specific examples and having discussions.
  • Moderately improves teaching efficiency
  • Slightly improves attainment
  • Moderately builds student knowledge
One of the greatest strengths of ClickView is the breadth of topics covered making it a valuable resource for every subject area. At NESCol library we use ClickView to support inductions and academic research skills, showing students how they can access relevant, up to date information about their subject area to help them complete coursework and assignments.
