Using ClickView has enabled us to use a safer video platform in our school. There are no adverts, no external links that children could follow and find harmful material. Teachers can share their resources, build their own resources, or build upon resources that are already available on ClickView. The communication and support that we have had from Michael has been invaluable! He is still in contact with us regularly to ensure we are able to use the service well and he helped us integrate it into our GSuite for Education platform so that children can access materials from home.

Kathryn Cairns found ClickView:
  • Significantly reduces teacher workload
Teachers can share resources with others in their year groups or key stages. Pre-made videos that link to the NC are available and questions can be added to videos to enhance the learning experience.
  • Moderately improves teaching efficiency
Using one platform for videos, worksheets, extensions and adding questions to videos alleviates jumping between programs, things becoming lost or becoming corrupt.
  • Moderately improves attainment
Since adding ClickView to our website and using it regularly in both computing lessons and the wider curriculum, there is a greater percentage of children achieving ARE in computing. Using visual stimulus supports a wider range of children, and also helps to support children with SEND.
  • Significantly builds student knowledge
Using grammar videos/questions for word classes has been particularly helpful in KS1.
