Review of Earwig

The team at Earwig have really supported Fountains to create a bespoke system to capture and record student progress. The Earwig software provides a range of features, such as their EHCP Framework, which allows for individualised student assessment and target setting. This makes it ideal for our SEND students.
Caroline Heathcote found Earwig:
- Significantly reduces teacher workload“Reduces time in compiling evidence, moderation and triangulation.”
- Moderately saves school money“The cost is broadly comparable to other similar software.”
- Significantly provides school data“Bespoke assessment frameworks improve efficiency when entering and collating data.”
- Moderately improves school processes“Supports data analysis.”
- Moderately improves parental engagement“We are not yet making full use of Earwig's functionality, which allows schools to share students' evidence with parents/ carers. However, this is something we will explore in the future.”
