Review of Earwig

We have found the company very easy to work with in terms of training needs and setting the whole system up. The design of the software is such that it has been possible to to be adapted to the needs of our school and those small adaptations were cost free. If we wanted to design our own framework we could, but there are so many frameworks already out there that the chances of us needing to do that are small.
Will Gant found Earwig:
- Moderately reduces teacher workload“We are using the EHCP Outcomes to write I.E.P's and having the Framework in place to refer to and write medium term targets from, reduces the time our Teachers are using other software or paper records.”
- Slightly saves school money“Earwig is competitively priced, so when we chose to sign up, it replaced the cost of out previous assessment recording and tracking systems.”
- Moderately provides school data“We will not have any data to use for a while, but we are planning on using EHCP targets to track progress of the pupils, so along with other curriculum based frameworks, we will have a much better system and a more holistic approach to than we had before.”
- Moderately improves school processes“With most of our processes being done within Earwig, processes have become far more streamlined and centralised.”
- Slightly improves parental engagement“We didn't release this information to parents with our previous software and we are unsure if we will with Earwig.”
