Karl Hillman found EDClass:

• Significantly reduces teacher workload“The EDClass learning platform will reduce teachers workload in researching curriculum-relevant resources for the students lessons. The lessons with the relevant Key stage content are already created on the system, and can be selected and assigned to any student within the school.”
• Slightly reduces attainment gap“As we are a relatively new school to the EDClass platform I do not have examples of the impact on the attainment gap. I feel that as the learning is curriculum based and created around Key Stage groups, the students should be able to maintain their learning in conjunction with their peers in school. Also the pathways can be personalised to assist a student in the areas where more concentration learning is required.”
• Significantly improves teaching efficiency“As less time is required in preparation of lessons, teachers are able to focus more time in other areas. As our school use the platform to support Alternative Provision, it supports reintegration by reducing the need for catch-up, and also identifies areas of focus for individual learners.”
• Significantly improves attainment“The EDClass platform supports the curriculum, and lesson sets are available to support different key stage groups and abilities. This provides the student with work that is reflective of the work that is being covered in school.”
• Significantly builds student knowledge“Helps to maintain the students current level of learning and reduces the need for catch-up. The EDClass platform can be personalised to target areas where more focus is required, and Independent learning can be used by the whole school.”
