Review of Genially
Genially

Used Genially daily for 1-2 years

I love using Genially, it is so versatile and the templates are beautiful.

Tom found Genially:
  • Slightly increases student collaboration
I am not sure this is particularly what Genially is designed for.
  • Moderately improves teaching efficiency
One of the main reasons I moved away from PPoint and to Genially is because of sharing and viewing rights. When we went digital and I wanted students to be able to stream and view my presentations wherever they were, Genially was the best solution as they do not need to be signed into Microsoft all the time to view. I also think you can simply do more with Genially than PPoint, especially when you start using some of the Genially extensions available. From that point of view efficiency is further improved.
  • Moderately improves teacher knowledge
When I decided on a fresh start to my lessons and chose Genially, I had to learn how to use Genially. Now it is a very easy bit of software to learn, but I still feel more knowledgeable as a result. Especially now I am starting to use Genially extensions.
  • Moderately builds student knowledge
In the same way that any presentation would such as PPoint. However Genially does often look more beautiful and engaging.
