It is a fantastic and highly flexible tool. As a classroom presentation too, CAL, or homework, the options are great. However, the interface and general approach lacks the bells and whistles that many of the other programs such as Quizizz and Kahoot! have on offer.

Akatsuki English found LessonUp:
  • Slightly reduces teacher workload
Rather than impacting work load, it makes content delivery better. I can include dictations and other listening activities quite easily. The options for sharing a link for homework is also very convenient.
  • Slightly reduces attainment gap
The students can review lesson content at their own paces; however, I haven't experienced a profound change with attainment.
  • Moderately increases student collaboration
I use your system for the 5th grade's global research and international understanding component. It is a lovely space for teams to consolidate/ share information with the rest of the class. We use the word map as a brainstorming and summary tool.
  • Significantly improves teaching efficiency
As an EFL instructor having embeded audio and video options is invaluable.
  • Moderately builds student knowledge
