We have been working with Manning's since September and they have been fantastic, supporting us in setting up a robust tutoring system to support pupil progress. They have a thorough knowledge of the National Tutoring Programme and were able to provide supportive guidance on how the funding could be used and also the most effective ways to set up tutoring. Danie (our liaison officer) is amazing. Her communication is exceptional and she will always go the extra mile to ensure that tutoring is set up to meet the needs of our school and pupils. Danie will regularly set up weekly online meetings so that we can discuss the progress of each tutoring phase, making adaptations when and where necessary. She really has been key in supporting us to deliver nearly 2000 hours of tutoring. Johnny is also incredibly supportive, discussing the financial side of the tutoring programme, providing detailed breakdowns of attendance and progress, and also being able to visit the school to discuss plans for the 2023/2024 academic year. As a school we would highly recommend Manning's and we look forward to working with them next academic year.

    Mannings have followed curriculum guidance from the school so that tutoring sessions are aligned with what is going on in the classroom.

    Pupils who attend 75% and above tutoring sessions on average improve their attainment by one grade.
  • Significantly builds student knowledge
    Mannings allow pupils to share with them topics which they find challenging. Tutoring can then drill down on these topics further to increase pupil confidence.
