MT is easy to use, the team are helpful, and the information area is useful and self-explanatory. I love being able to get an overview of all 5 schools and be able to run reports. to look at areas for improvement

Jane Graham found Medical Tracker:
  • Significantly improves parent engagement
we use this for parents to update and agree on careplans, and main engagement is notifying them of medication usage and child health or injuries at school
  • Significantly improves school processes
we have 5 schools MT has help standardise the way we report illnesses and injuries, who goes home, what needs an accident investigation, what needs reporting to RIDDOR. By every incident/illness report going to the medical leads it allows a review of the child and prevents unnecessary absences
  • Does not significantly improve teacher wellbeing
I think it is making teachers more aware that they can and should send pupils to the medical leads rather than resolving the issue themselves
  • Slightly reduces teacher workload
I am not seeing this at the moment but for 4 of the schools we have only had this in place 1 term
  • Does not save school money
there is a cost to having MT which we didn't have before. So there fore it is costing us more. However i do think we will cut down on the inappropriate user of ice packs which will be a cost saving eventually
