They organize the tour unprofessionally with poor knowledge about the school and references to personal experience but not to the school policy.
Good infrastructure but extremely dirty and looks like nobody cares.
The variety of schools in Singapore makes a choice not in favor to SAS.

Graduated class of 1997. Wonderful school with faculty that cares about the future of students and help offer a global perspective. SAS was the best thing that ever happened to me :)

So dont get me wrong, I love this school. The faculty is very nice, they teach very good stuff, but theres also a few things you might need to know. The school lunch is medium, so if you dont like food that are soggy and other stuff, I recommend you to come here. Some of the people in each class has atleast one annoying guy that braggs or bullies.

The school has amazing facilities and dedicated teachers. Unfortunately, the spoiled kids of super rich parents, who are allowed to bully other kids, and the insane competition for attention between kids, make the experience for children of parents with average financial means very disappointing and even distressing.

Amazing. I loved this school very much but I am also sad since I no longer go to this school. It’s really big, which might be a problem for those who aren’t good with directions, although it wasn’t really a problem for me. The Teachers were very nice, and the people were friendly. The AC was cold for me which was a problem for me(but I survived). The education was top notch and you could get a lot smarter in no time. There are 3 houses in this school, which was a pretty good number, and there were very few house activities that we had to do(which was good). On field day, I remember that it was really, really fun and my house won last year(2019). I really recommend this school for any American(or non American) person, and please use this review to good use.

Update(a few years later):
Given my obvious bias for this school as a result of moving to another school, I’ve decided to write an update to subsequently result in a valid review. Compared to my other schools, quite frankly this school was at the best decent. It wasn’t amazing, as some of the people were obnoxious and rude; Although yes such people are prevalent in every school, such people should not exists if the school strives to have high standards for education and to overall have a good environment. From when I was last there, there were numerous occurrences for which there were people vaping, and doing other illegal things which in a way makes the school feel more “public” rather than a private institution. There were of course many good things about the school, where the good people are genuine people contrary to the small but noticeable percentage of bad ones. I personally should have taken my education more seriously, as I cannot give proper judgement on the education there given that I did not take school seriously until roughly 2 years later after moving. Reading the old review, I truly was rather condescending in the way that I was sort of bashing my next school which reinforces that I was most definitely biased and besides, my grades were rather average(a far shot from my standards now) and I even said this school made me smart. I remember the activities were great, and the interdisciplinary units: Yuck. With everything into consideration, this was a good school with good teachers, with mostly good students.
