It helps organise the SENCo , and class teachers IEPs, the pictures help me remember children.
Simon found Provision Map:
- Does not significantly reduce teacher workload“Class teachers are able to do IEPs because of provision map, they weren't doing these before.”
- Does not significantly provide school data“it provides evidence of progress for SEN when other forms of data are not appropriate.”
- Slightly improves teacher knowledge“I am struggling to get teachers to use it as a reference tool.”
- Significantly improves school processes“Keeping notes of SENCo parent LA interactions in the meeting notes. IEPs are formal and well organised. identifying and tracking SEN is easier.”
- Does not build student knowledge
