I have found Pupil Progress to be an exceptional company to work with; from the start of our journey setting up KS4, to staff training, excellent online videos to help and/or train ourselves with, instant online support, and excellent in-person support, to developing Pupil Progress use throughout KS3, reducing staff workload through the one-point data entry, and the Pupil Progress Reports. It's been excellent - thank you to everyone at Pupil Progress :)

Rebecca Kirkman found Pupil Progress:
  • Provides school data
All of our KS3 and KS4 data is input into Pupil Progress (one point data entry) and this is then easily uploaded to SISRA Analytics and SLT Data Reports are completed and shared with Middle Leaders/Senior Leaders, Parents and Governors.
  • Improves teaching efficiency
We upload end of unit assessments as well as holistic, whole school data entry assessments. This helps middle leaders and class teachers decide what topics to re-cover as Do Now Activities, homework tasks and/or whole class lessons.
  • Improves attainment
Students in KS3 are keen to achieve their target descriptor and are asking "how many marks did I need to be "mastering"? Students at KS4, particularly in Year 11 love the QLA reports after their mocks, and use this to guide what topics they need to work on for a variety of subjects. Teachers use the QLA and Topic Summary to make improvements to their planning throughout both key stages.
  • Improves parent engagement
Parent feedback on the Pupil Progress reports has been extremely positive, particular in Year 11. We are hoping to launch the Pupil Progress App in the next couple of months to use the Pupil Progress reports (both summary and full) throughout all five years (and save significantly on photocopying costs!).
  • Reduces attainment gap
Our current Year 11 attainment gap is nearly half the attainment gap last year. This is down to many factors but Pupil Progress is one of them. We can "tag" different groups of students to implement specific interventions and closely monitor progress. Meaningful data is at our fingertips at all times!!
