It has been brilliant to use a system that automatically updates and shows progress scores without needing our data manager to calculate these. Some teachers have struggled with a lack of flexibility within the trackers to make small changes. If reports could be seen by parents through an app or email system it would be a 10.

Katie Darmody found Pupil Progress:
  • Does not significantly reduce teacher workload
Similar time spent inputting data for individual class teachers.
  • Significantly improves teaching efficiency
Subject leaders and school leaders can automatically see after data drops where they need to put intervention into place.
  • Moderately improves teacher knowledge
Teachers can more easily see strengths and weaknesses within AOs.
  • Moderately improves attainment
School leaders can more easily see pupils who need support with NEA work and also key classes that need additional support.
