Used RedboxVR for A couple of years

It adds little to nothing after 1 or 2x use.

Reply from RedboxVR:Thank you so much for your honest review of how you feel about the unit. We apologise you feel you have not had use of the unit after only a couple of times. Although most Google Expeditions available do use static pictures, there is an array of alternative software available. Within your package, we do offer 2 years support but this does not restrict you from calling/emailing us after this time, as we always do our upmost to accommodate any support needed.
We would love to get this resolved for you so you can get the most out of your kit so we would be really grateful if you could contact us on aine@redboxvr.co.uk / +44 (0) 7862 819118
Marjolein Duchateau found RedboxVR:
  • Does not improve attainment
After one ore two times the children get bored.
  • Does not significantly build student knowledge
Students feel quickly bored with Google Expeditions It's too static
  • Does not significantly improve teaching efficiency and productivity
Students are quickly bored with Google Expeditions It's too static. Teachers are not satisfied with it either. The students are tired quickly and they mainly spend time maintaining the material and preparing the lesson with the material. They indicate that e.g. a YouTube video, the students better reached. They also indicate that being allowed to look around yourself, being able to go on a virtual tour is more appealing.
