Most Helpful Reviews

DreamBox Reading Plus

Sarah, Reading Lead: Reading Plus has had a huge impact on our school. It is popular with parents, teachers and children alike. The children enjoy the texts they read, find out lots of new information from them and like how the Reading Plus dashboard looks. They love the competitive nature of the leaderboard and the certificates they get when they level up.
Clare, Teacher of English: I work with reluctant readers, however I think this program would work great for students who love reading. It would help teachers fill in the learning gaps.
Stuart, Teacher: Works for some learners but initial assessment is a daunting process for our learners

An extensive collection of reports

Our extensive reporting shows you the progress your pupils make through their use of the Reading Plus programme. We’ve also developed additional reports to further support you – and evidence the progress being made.

Progress reports

The Reading Plus Progress Report is designed to evidence formative student progression in reading speed, comprehension, and vocabulary. And it identifies target pupils who require further support or intervention.

We send these reports on a termly basis covering Years 3 to 6.

QLA reports

When children complete a reading selection on Reading Plus, they answer 10 questions to test their deeper understanding and comprehension anchor skills.

QLA Reports identify children’s strengths and areas for development against the KS2 Reading Content Domains to help inform interventions and provide an insight into pupils’ overall levels of performance.

We send these reports in preparation for Year 5 pupils progressing to Year 6 so that teachers can identify immediately where pupils require support to become secure in the skills areas that require development.
