I like the idea of Kapow and the fact it has a lot of the subjects and information to teach but its not very user friendly e.g. PowerPoints aren't editable, sometimes a lot of resources are required, not able to be adapted for SEN pupils.

Video Link Issues: However, we have encountered some challenges, particularly with video links to the BBC. As an international school, access to certain content can be inconsistent, and this has affected our ability to fully utilise some of the resources. We hope that these issues can be addressed in the future to enhance the overall experience.

I know that my staff love using kapow. The materials are engaging for our pupils and everything is altogether in one place. There is consistency across the school with the teaching of the subjects where we use Kapow.

Yes. I think that the instrument teaching lessons resources are better with Charanga. Also, and I appreciate this is branded as a Primary school resource, more adapted and suggested resources and suggestions for students with ALN/SEND would be very useful. You could easily extend your offer to ALN/SEND Secondary schools with some tweaks and adaptations. Have you considered this?

Kapow is well structured and resourced. We do make the occasional tweak to suit our particular cohorts or because of time constraints but it is very easy to do this as the ideas are already there and resources can usually be adapted, rather than having to start from scratch making new ones. There are also often alternative resources provided for pupils that may find some of the lesson content challenging.
