We have found that our students are very engaged and even those who find mathematics boring or difficult are willing to engage with the programme. Our students have comment on the ownership of their own learning that they feel with the individual targeted pathway that is created by Maths Whizz.

I have used Maths Whizz across multiple schools and have seen how successful it can be with improving children's attainment in maths. They grow in confidence and are excited to learn new topics. They can then successfully apply this knowledge within their lessons, which allows children to be more independent with their learning and try more challenging reasoning and problem solving questions.

I’ve given Maths‑Whizz a score of 10/10 because it has had a genuinely positive impact on both our pupils and our staff. The children really enjoy using the platform, and the interactive games, characters and challenges keep them motivated to learn. They also respond incredibly well to the incentives and rewards, such as credits, certificates and progress badges, which encourage consistent engagement and help build their confidence in maths. We are a special school with a range of students working between early years and GCSE at higher level. For most of our students, the Maths Whizz programme is really engaging. It continually assesses student progress and sets them work that is in line with their current working at level and provides us with timely feedback on anything that they may find trickier. The graphics and building up gems appeals to the students and the teacher graphics on our page shows student progress at a glance and can be shared with students on the whiteboard, which is updated each minute. This encourages our students to strive to gain their gems and get into the hall of fame.
