They know that they are the Brand ADIS among Indian parents. No matter how bad the teaching is, no matter how bad the teachers treat the students, the Indian parents feels so proud to enroll their kids in this school. Im glad i already moved my son after 1 year of learning. They can keep their ‘ OH SOOO RARE, DIFFICULT SEAT” with them.

There is no inclusiveness in their teaching. There is no inclusiveness in their sports.
If u child is very smart, fast learner and grasps everything in one go, then this school is for your child.
Same with sports. If ur child knows how to play, has already been trained outside, then he will shine under ADIS name. There is no teaching here. “U know already, u shine” thats it.

Otherwise, never enroll a child who has difficulty in learning , slow learner in this school. Your child will only face humiliation from those over unprofessional, bad attitude teachers.

Their portions are so much even for grade 1. Kids have to memorize and mug up so much portions since they step inside that school. Their learning method has only one style. “Copy tons of notes and memorize it”.
No understanding of concepts, no fun, no logical explanation. Nothing.

I would highly recommend not to join this place. Teachers never help students but is like self serve! How are smaller class students supposed to learn on their own?! Writing this review on behalf of someone who i know of. Kindly avoid this school if you would like some peace of mind. A school and its teachers should be respectful to their students not a torture and full of attitude.

They can fake all they want as core values but that will not solve the culture of this school. Students should have good memories about school and needs respectful teachers. I am sure there are good teachers but the majority of bad culture affects everyone who does good for kids in a negative way too.

I have studied in this school from 2006 to 2017 and this place has really destroyed my childhood and my mental health. Due to my experiences at this school, I suffer from social anxiety, depression and other phycological issues.

If you as a student stands out negatively, people would assume that you have some sort of disability. This can negatively impact a child's mental health as he/she would be treated differently. When I was in the 2nd grade, just because I was a hyper kid who misbehaved a lot and had a low attention span like any normal kid in any normal place, the teachers and students taught that I had mental problems. This rumor existed until the 12th grade. The reason for the rumor existing for years is that the students don't get shuffled from Grade 2 to 8 and because the students and teachers gossip a lot. When I was in grade 10 just because I wasn't good at math the teacher assumed and officially recorded that I have a learning disability.

The peers are really obnoxious, anti-social and lack any form of social skills and basic etiquette. If you are not so good at sports or studies or if you're different from most kids, you'd have a hard time socializing. If you are unpopular among your peers or if people dislike you, you are more likely to get bullied. Students would call you names, spread rumors about you, mock you for the way you act or your physical appearance. They would bully you in other ways too. You'd face some form of social exclusion, simply because you're different.

The facilities are really old. The furniture is half broken. The toilets are dirty. The canteen food is low quality and are a little over-priced. It feels like the school is located in a Third World country.

The teaching is of poor quality; there is very little learning in the classrooms, and the same teachers charge for after-school tuition programs outside the campus.

Discipline is given more priority over mental health and well-being. Students spend the entire day in the classroom, with one 10min recess and one 20min recess, as well as a once a week PT period. Students are not permitted to bring phones or other electronic devices to school. They are not permitted to use the smart board to watch a video or anything else, even if they are seated quietly and are 15 or older. As a result, they become agitated and run or jump around the classroom and break stuff. They also play fighting a lot. Students (boys) are not permitted to have stylish haircuts or long hair, no matter how decent it appears. Some teachers would fuss about it. The headmaster would suspend students over a mohawk haircut, especially if it's too stylized.

Some teachers are prone to losing their cool and yelling and punishing students for minor infractions, making a big deal out of minor issues. Some teachers (typically Grade 2 to 6) would even interfere with a child's life outside the school premises. When an assignment or anything else is simple, some teachers are so unprofessional that they complicate it, putting students under pressure. I'm not saying all teachers are bad; some are competent, professional, friendly and humble.

To impress the ADEC inspectors, this school fakes it by temporarily changing how certain things are done.

Boys and girls are completely separated (from second to twelfth grades) and are not allowed to socialize on campus. This, in my opinion, is psychologically unhealthy. I mean, the child needs to be used to interacting with the opposite sex. Because of this, I used to feel so nervous or awkward talking to or socializing with girls when I first joined university.

The staff uses fear/blackmail to deal with certain situations, as well as shaming the student. When I was in lower grades I had experiences of bus conductors, drivers and cleaners trying to scare me by making treats over little things.

In some cases, management and authorities are poor planners. Some of the staff members can be so rude and lack people skills or communication skills, even when talking to adults. The school office is an un-organised mess.

I would give a 0 star rating, but that’s not possible so I had to give a 1 star rating. Worst “school” I’ve ever been to in my whole life. It’s just so bad you can’t even call it a school. I’ve only studied here for 1 year and that year was the worst one of my life. Teachers and students barely know how to speak English. The Arabic teacher knew how to speak more English than the English teacher. Teachers don’t even teach properly and all they do is give tons of homework to smaller grade students. Then they give a very short deadline. The math teacher especially didn’t teach properly. I didn’t understand this very important chapter, so I had to take help from my family and my new school’s math teacher to fully understand the chapter. Teachers also get very angry when students ask doubts. My brother’s math teacher said “will you just shut your mouth?” to a student when he asked a doubt. I’m definitely not recommending this “school” to anyone.

I would personally recommend anyone to look for other options. This school has the worst record when it comes to the mental health of the students. Weak students aren't given proper attention and resources to cope up with. Especially students in 10th and 12th are struggling the most with no support given to them by the school. The school puts back to back exams for students of grade 10 and 12 without even considering of their mental health and the pressure they are put through. They only want to maintain the prestigious name of the school, nothing less. As a student who studied there for 14 years for KG1 I have seen the school evolve into the most terrible place to be. The amount of sexism practiced in the school makes you sick to the stomach. Boys are allowed to get away with doing any kind of stuff even staring and calling names at girls. When i was there in the volleyball team we weren't even given proper training whereas boys had classes and a trainer to help them through. We weren't allowed to go for inter school cause apparently we weren't as good as boys who never missed an inter school match. Teachers always play favorites and students aren't given any attention or care unless it gives them good name. The drama they put on to get good grades from ADEK will even get them the oscar. I was there in the student council and we were told to talk good about the school when officials came to talk to us during covid. Only reason i survived was cause of my friends and select few good teachers who make us feel good about ourself and make us strive harder. School is supposed to be a fun place but this is the place where students get anxious and depressed. So kindly do yourself a favor and choose any other school even if you have to pay some extra pennies, cause ultimately the well being matters more than the money spent.
