Prince of Wales Theatre

What an experience, The Book of Mormons was fantastic.
But this is about the theatre.
I loved the Art Deco theme of this lovely theatre, the shapes, painted ceilings and curved stair cases along with a great American Bar.
The staff were great, very friendly and gave clear directions.
We also had very good seats even though they were cheap.
Fantastic night!

This is a lovely old theatre with good views from most seats. I was towards the back of the stalls on the left (P43) and, despite the distortion of the view in the photos, had a great view of the stage with very little missed (on the extreme left). The acoustics were excellent, too. The seats are not particularly comfortable so I would suggest bringing a cushion or padded coat to sit on!

This evening, I visited for The Book of Mormon. First of all, the show itself was stunning and highly enjoyable.

The venue itself is very lovely as well, though one aspect that could be improved upon is the air conditioning. It wasn't extremely hot, but it also wasn't fully comfortable once everyone got in their seats. This was not too significant, but very noticeable at all times, which influenced the experience a little bit - at least for me.

All the staff seemed genuinely friendly and were helpful at all times.

Lovely experience with "The Book of Mormons". The theatre is super central, we booked the tickets the day before (though if you want to get a good offer, you should book way more in advance) online on the Theatre site. The view was great from the Cirlce seats. The show has a 15 min break, though the queue to the toilets will last forever - men's toilets have only one stall, and the urinals are super squashed together. They have bars on different floors and a lift to get to the seats floors

Wonderful theater, my wife and I saw the Book of Mormons there. It was hilarious, but as for the theater, the stage design was wonderful, it was diverse with all the backdrops and foregrounds that were added in a moments notice. The sound was amazing, a bit loud at times. Friendly staff, safe experience. Looking forward to attending the next performance at this theatre.
