From my perspective, ALPS is a truly essential tool for any sixth form committed to helping students reach their absolute best; it's not just about tracking data, but about creating a culture where students and teachers strive for excellence. What I find so powerful about ALPS is that it facilitates setting those aspirational yet achievable targets, which is so important in those crucial sixth form years, and then provides incredibly detailed analysis of each student's performance, allowing for a level of personalised coaching that ensures no one gets left behind. The subject-specific benchmarks are also invaluable, giving us a clear view of how students are doing compared to the national standard, so we can target our support and help them maximise their potential. And with the effective monitoring and tracking features, we can keep a close eye on progress and adjust our coaching strategies as needed, which leads to much more productive conversations between teachers, students, and parents because we all have this clear, shared understanding of where they are and what they need to do. For me, ALPS is about empowering sixth forms to go beyond just recording grades and instead actively coaching students, instilling that drive for excellence, and giving them every possible chance to achieve the success they deserve.
