It is a system which is easy to understand and universally applicable across different subjects at KS4 and KS5. Recent website changes have resulted in a much improved interface. It helps us to recognise achievement and target areas for further improvement.

- Improves attainment“It has enabled us to highlight pupils and subjects or even sets where pupils are not progressing as far as they are in other subjects. Sometimes this might not be by much but by targeting areas where improvement seems feasible it makes an impact to our overall outcomes. This year we achieved an ALPS score 1 at GCSE.”
- Improves school processes“We review examination results annually. ALPS scores and VA feedback is now factored into how departments feedback to the Senior Leadership team on how students have done.”
- Improves teaching efficiency
