• Does not significantly reduce teacher workload“Positive impact is teachers assign MCQ based Ready Made assessments for a quick AFL. It has not reduced workload in a significant manner.”
• Moderately improves teaching efficiency“Have been using it as a starter for lessons. Either with a Check and Challenge projected on screen or Pod. So the students are aware of what they are learning today.”
• Does not significantly improve teacher knowledge“Not significant. Teachers are in command of subject knowledge. This is more to address learning gaps in student learning. This does help teacher monitor class progress.”
• Moderately improves attainment“We had identified students who were at Level 3 / 5 for some subjects and we felt with a little support and encouragement we can get them to attain higher. We used GCSEpod and saw amazing results. Attainment in a few cases increased by 2 levels but an increase of 1 level was very evident across several subjects.”
• Significantly builds student knowledge“The audio visual aid with specific and focused content helps students learn and gain confidence. They are like building blocks. Correct selection of pods from the teacher helps students learn bit by bit with a quick self assessment available in the form of check and challenge.”
