Review of Kapow Primary

I know that my staff love using kapow. The materials are engaging for our pupils and everything is altogether in one place. There is consistency across the school with the teaching of the subjects where we use Kapow.

- Significantly reduces teacher workload“Teachers have slides to hand which means that they are not looking around on other sites for resources.”
- Significantly improves teaching efficiency“Lessons are not diverted off in to a different direction. The lesson sturcture is very clear from beginning to end.”
- Moderately improves teacher knowledge“Obviously, this will depend on how much the teacher reads the materials before the lesson. (which I would expect they do). Kapow then supports the knowledge we're expecting the children to know and in order to do this the teacher needs to know.”
- Significantly improves attainment“There is very clear support with Kapow as to what the children new at the beginning of the session and then what they know at the end of the unit.”
- Significantly builds student knowledge“This is through the what I already know assessment at the beginning of the unit and then again at the end of unit assessment.”
