St Lukes Special school Redbourn, England

Used Kapow Primary weekly for 0–3 months

Nov 2024

I like the idea of Kapow and the fact it has a lot of the subjects and information to teach but its not very user friendly e.g. PowerPoints aren't editable, sometimes a lot of resources are required, not able to be adapted for SEN pupils.

Rachel found Kapow Primary:
  • Moderately reduces teacher workload
It takes less time to plan lessons when using Kapow, but it is frustrating that you cannot edit the slides or edit any of the worksheets.
  • Slightly improves teaching efficiency
  • Moderately improves teacher knowledge
Like the teacher videos before starting a new topic
  • Slightly improves attainment
  • Slightly builds student knowledge
Haven't been using for long enough to know yet.
