It has been a lifeline for reasons mentioned previously, with us using it most often for attendance reasons and revision. We use the exam papers provided, and it is a useful homework tool. It was also extremely helpful when the schools were closed due to Covid and meant that students got regular feedback without impacting significantly on teacher workload, meaning that teachers could focus on delivering quality live lessons.

Reply from MathsWatch:Dear Rebecca, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. Glad that we were able to help when it was most needed and that students missing lessons are able to 'catch-up' by using our platform.
Rebecca statham found MathsWatch:
  • Significantly reduces teacher workload
Ready made learning and questions for absent students, ready made videos and questions for revision
  • Significantly reduces attainment gap
Students who are non attendees or long term sickness can access the videos from home and so do not get as far behind. Students working independently for revision can use the resources to consolidate learning
  • Moderately provides school data
Looking at engagement outside of school, comparing different DLG groups.
  • Significantly improves attainment
Students who regularly engage with the software independently generally make better progress than those who do not
