• Significantly reduces teacher workload“The district provided seating chart creator (through our SIS) is terrible. MSP allows me to change a name to a nickname, have more than one arrangement for seats, and so many more things. The biggest one is being able to have the proper name for a kid show fully on the seating chart when I print it.”
• Significantly improves teaching efficiency“When I print my weekly seating charts, I don't have to go through and white out and make other marks on the page, because I have the names kids use in my class already on the paper, and their full name shows. On the district provided seating chart maker, kids with long names are truncated (often not in the preferred location for the kids), so not having to alter the printed seating chart every time I need to print one is a huge time saver.”
• Significantly improves school processes“It's easy to create new working groups for my students - they learn how to work with new people. At the same time, I can easily make sure my students with IEPs/504s are at the front of the room and I can make sure that kids sit with other students or avoid other students.”
• Moderately improves behaviour or wellbeing“Definitely has eased my mind over creating seating plans. Since I have been a teacher, I have felt it necessary to make sure that my students learn how to work with a variety of other people, and MSP makes that easy to make sure I am ALSO following 504/IEP accommodations.”
